What’s On

Baptism Sunday

Please join us this Sunday, 2nd December to witness three young men publically declare their faith in Jesus Christ and go through the waters of baptism. The service will start at 9am in the Main hall, and Sunday Service resumes at 10am in the English Service hall. To celebrate the special occasion, there will be lunch provided by the Church, so please bring some dessert and fruit to share! Hope to see you there for the Baptism, church service and for lunch!

Christmas P!

For the next 5 Fridays, MCCC’s Youth and Young Adults Friday Nights will be in ‘Christmas P’ mode! What’s ‘Christmas P’, you ask? No, not Christmas Party, but better still, Christmas Preparation for our upcoming Christmas celebration night on December 15!

We would loved to have you come join us as we prepare for the night. Feel free to invite friends along – what a perfect opportunity to minister to friends what Christ’s love is about through service to the church! See you there at 8pm 😉

Exam break & Christmas preparation

What an amazing year it has been reading and studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians this year! Tis a bit sad, but that concludes the Bible study component for 2012. Thank you all for your attendance, your enthusiasm, the great discussions during Bible study, and your service to God throughout the year – all glory be to God!

Youth and Young Adults Friday Night program will be on hiatus for two weeks on 2/11 and 9/11 to give y’all some time to study for your exams, catch up with work, or to simply take a breather. Enjoy the break! 😀

We will resume our meeting on 16/11 where we will start our preparations for the Christmas service (Saturday, December 15). There are many, many opportunities in which you can help out and we’d love to have you on board. More updates to come closer to the date 🙂

Stay tuned and have a lovely break!

1 & 2 Thessalonians summary

Missed out on a few weeks at Youth and Young Adults Bible study this year? Don’t fret — we will be doing an overview of 1 & 2 Thessalonians this Friday 19th October, starting at 8pm in the English service chapel. Not only will this night be helpful in refreshing your memory, it also ties together how these two epistles fit in with the whole Bible, as well as how it applies to us today. So bring your pens, paper, iPads, smartphones, and other note-taking device of preference to jot some points down – don’t miss it! See you all there! 😉

Get ready – Christmas Service 2012!

Hi y’all! …. And the countdown begins – only 2 and a half months before Christmas! This year, our annual Christmas Service will be on Saturday 15th December. Come join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ as we sing carols and hear a message from the Bible about the grace of God. Mark it in your diaries and calendars early, and hope to see you there! More information to come. CHECK THIS SPACE.

Noah’s Ark – Deluge of Evidence

Have you ever been challenged to explain Noah’s Ark and the Genesis Flood? Then here is your chance to hear Rod Walsh, aka ‘The Ark Man’ as he draws his 14-year feasibility study showing exactly how plausible the Biblical Ark was. Complete with three amazing scale-model Arks!

Rod is an excellent and engaging speaker who can expertly answer questions that most Christians still don’t know how to answer, such as: ‘Where did all the water go? What evidence do we see today for a global flood? How did all the animals fit? Were dinosaurs on the ark?’

These and many other flood and creation-related questions are answered in a fully illustrated presentation.
