Hi All!

Just a heads up to let you know that there’s no YYA Bible study this Friday at church (so don’t come to church). Instead, there’s badminton and MOLDI (Meaning Of Life Discussed Intelligently) dinner happening! It’s been announced already at the services and in the bulletin. If you want to come but still don’t know the details, contact one of the YYA committee members. Hope to see you and we look forward to having a great time of fellowship and outreach there!

Workshop: Engaging in Courageous Conversations

Image

Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve attempted to go deeper into a conversation, but you’re worried that things will get awkward? It’s happened to most of us – and it’s especially tricky when you’re sharing your faith!

Melbourne Chinese Christian Church is hosting a short training on how to engage in meaningful conversations. We’ll be looking at some of the most common fears/barriers when talking to new comers, how to possibly turn a conversation into one that is more meaningful and faith related, and wrapping things up with a prayer session.

Date: Friday 5th July, 2013

Venue: MCCC (29 Summerhill Road, Glen Iris)

Time: 8.00pm – 9:30pm

This is an optional training, but it will be helpful for people of all ages in developing conversational skills in an outreach context!

Hope to see you all there!
